Camp

Less than two weeks of camp left and four staff members. Interesting since only two of the staff members do the work...blah!

I got attacked by a squirrel yesterday...Well...Not really attacked but there was a squirrel in the Depot and Katie (the counselor) told the kids to chase and hit it with a broom to scare it out...The thing was just scared...He jumped on my back and on a campers arm and broke skin. Stephanie and I yelled at the campers and they said that Katie told them they could...STUPID PEOPLE SHOULD NOT WORK AT CAMP!!!!

On a better note... Stephanie and I are in charge of worship this week and the kids are really liking it. This is how the week has gone.

Monday: We had them throw 3 pieces of paper at a trash can that was 15 feet away from them. Then we talked about how when we mess up and how we feel and such. After our Bible reading/discussion we had them write down something they wished they had never done on a coffee filter with marker and then they put it in a bowl of lemon juice and it disappeared and we told them that Jesus' blood made our sins disappear.

Tuesday: We had them build gum drop towers. They had 100 spaghetti noodles and 100 toothpicks and 100 gum drops and they had to try to build the highest tower. We talked about how GOD is our ROCK in whom we stand on. Then we talked about how Jesus is the cornerstone and we took off a corner gum drop off of one of the building and made it fall... :-D

Wednesday: We did an out do each other servant thing.... They each had a list on their back that they were not trying to get filled up buy trying to fill everyone else's up...They object was to out do serving each other..But they couldn't refuse service from anyone. We talked about how our attitude should be the same a Christ since he came to serve.

Thursday: Today we did a taking risk thing and they had to blow up balloons and try to get the biggest one and we talked about taking risks for GOD. :-)

Friday: Tomorrow we will do salvation bracelets. More later.!
