SUPER FUN DAY!!!!

Grapes, Shortcake, and I had a super fun day in Orlando today. We were going to go to church at Hope tonight, but we took too long at the Outlet Mall. We started out in the Bible Factory Outlet. I bought two new Bibles :-D The Answer Authentic Faith for an Uncertain World It is a bible with questions and different answers to the questions by different well known Christians and pastors such as Max Lucado...I know SUPER FUN! It is a New Century Version. I also bought the Hands On Bible It is a NLT version children's bible..but it has really cool things to do with most of the bible stories so that is SUPER FUN TOO! We also went to Clairs and I bought some new tongue rings, because I lost my other one cause I'm not able to wear it during camp. But I got like 5 new ones so I should be good for awhile. Then we went to Sheplers and Shortcake bought a new SUPER FUN cowboy hat...I know weird since we are in FL but what can I say...people in Florida are weird. We then went to The Book Warehouse and I bought GRACELAND A COLLECTION OF SONGS, DISCUSSION STARTERS, AND BIBLE STUDIES ABOUT THE JOURNEY FROM LOST TO FOUND It's about lost and found...yeah cool. I bought 3 new Max Lucado books A Gentle Thunder, An Angels Story, and Next Door Savior WITH TEEN STORY ADAPTATIONS Then we came home, made some dinner and a cake, and now we are watching Elf....so I'm gone for now....I'll talk to you all later...hope all are having a great summer!

After this weekend we are down to 4 girls and a boy. 2 more staff are leaving...Ahhhhhh!
Anyway i'm so sad....and don't know why....

We had to call DCF for one of my campers today...

Week 3 :-/

Tomorrow begins week three of Woodlands Summer Camp 2005. It is our first overnight...and one of my favorite people won't be working...sad day :-( Anyway...lets see, I'm in the horse program again this week with Tabitha...i'm sad...she is leaving this weekend for the summer. It's gonna be this weird this summer...already two staffers gone and I think another one will be leaving soon. Steph is here reading this...and now she has a BIG head :-) she's cool though...I told Audrie that she is the little sister that I always wanted and never had :-D (she is still reading this so it's really weird)
My brother called my g-mother and said he missed me. I want to call my sister...she wasn't having an easy pregnancy....and I hope everything is okay with her and the baby. I also miss my neice Kailyn.
It's 11 o'clock right now and I'm burning CDs for Stephanie for VBS...I told her today that when I hang out with her that I fell like I have a real job...hehehe.......
Anywho...I'm off...hope everyone is well....

Camp has offically begun...it has been a bit rocky, but we are surviving. I actually got something tody that made me smile! I was talking to one of the staff about him not putting any time in after his 40 hrs was over because the rest of the staff are. He said he talked to Deon and told Deon that camp wasn't really his ministry...he just camp to work...he didn't really like camp and Deon said "Not everyone can be Bonnie" that just made me happy because I LOVE CAMP!! I really feel that it is my calling.

Camp Begins TOMORROW!!!

Tomorrow is officially our first day of camp. My day "officially" starts at 8, but I am going to go help out at 7:30 with registration and such. From 8-12 I will be working in the barn (WITH THE HORSES!!!) then 12-1 I have lunch, then 1-4 I have PM Activities then I'm off, but I'm staying to help with Worship because that is my favorite part of camp! :-) God is really going to teach me patience this summer because there are already two staff members that I find I have to constantly bite my tongue. I'm really going to be needing the prayers.

I'm new to this...

I have a xanga, but no one can post on unless they too are part of xanga, so i think I am going to stop using that one...
So, let me tell you what has been going on in my life...
On Sunday, I left San Antonio, TX at 7:30pm to head to Florida. It started raining at 8:00pm. We were supposed to be in New Orleans at around 3:30am where we were going to stay the night, but we didn't get there until 6:30am because of the rain. It never stopped raining and in some places, we literally couldn't see. God protected us though and we made it here safely, we didn't stop but to rest for an hour. I have been busy since!! We start camp on Monday and I'm excited, I will be working in the barn which means I get to work with horses.
I am not going to lie...when I got the call from The Woodlands, I cried at first because I applied to work at Camp Lone Star, and I have for the past three years, but they always pass up my application so I just felt like I wasn't good enough and that there was something wrong with me. I was less than happy until I got here and I really believe that God wants me here for this summer. We have a really small staff, only eight...it will be an interesting summer.
I am going to end this now, I am going to go work on some posters for meal prayers....if ANYONE knows any, could you please leave me some! Thanks. Love to all!
